Community Bible Camp 2016

We had a great time in Lions Park and at Central Lutheran Church for our 2016 event! We raised over $2,000 for Thumbs Up High 5K! And many kids heard about Jesus’ love for them!

Join us July 10-14 from 6-8:45 pm for Community Bible Camp. Kids ages 4 (by June 1st, 2016) – grade 5 (completed 2016) are invited to participate at our events hosted in Elk River’s Lions Park where 5 area churches will host Submerged!

At Submerged, prepare to embark on an adventure like no other, scouring the mysterious fathoms of the deep sea. Thrilling discoveries await just beyond the portholes of your submarine. Things look very different once you get below the surface – and that’s true for life above the surface, too. As kids submerge themselves in God’s Word, they will discover that Jesus saw people differently. He didn’t just see what’s on the outside; He saw who people were down deep. As kids learn to see themselves and others as Jesus sees them, they can realize that everyone needs a Savior – even those who look like they have it all together. A relationship with Jesus Christ changes everything! All you have to do is dive in!

Community Bible Camp is a FREE 5-day adventure where kids get to be creative, rock to great music, play games, and hear God’s Word! Don’t miss out on all the fun! Invite your friends to join you! We can’t wait to see you there!

We need your help for another fantastic year!

If we experience inclement weather, we will be holding events in doors at Central Lutheran Church, 1103 School St (right across the Parking Lot from Lion’s Park).

If the weather changes, some activities MAY be held outside.

If severe weather moves in, we will be relocating the group to VandenBerge Middle School. Parents will be allowed to pick-up once the all-clear is given.

It’s often said that if you don’t like the weather in Minnesota, wait five minutes and it will change. We know that holding community bible camp in July can present many different weather-related challenges. In the event the weather does not cooperate, Central Lutheran Church, across the parking lot from Lion’s Park, is our inclement weather backup site.

For severe weather, we will bring everyone to VandenBerge Middle School. You will be able to pick up your kids from there once we give the “All Clear.”

What they said...

  • I just want to praise you and tell you how much I love this Bible Camp. My kids are loving it and learning life lessons. The community is extremely blessed to have such an amazing program to offer our children!?

    - Mallory
  • "The one thing I was impressed with was the security at the event, but you do not sense their presence on top of us. I think this made me feel safe and also my kids can feel they are in a safe environment."

    - Jenny
  • "My daughter is having an absolutely wonderful time at CBC this week. She comes home just full of smiles each night. She loves the music - says 'They play the best music mom!' we're a KTIS family so she's loving that it's God honoring music. She has been so proud to show off her CRAFT projects each night: the backpack, the drum and the decorated rock."

  • "Thank you to the CBC Leadership Team for WELL PLANNING in the safety department and thank you to the safety volunteers for keeping watchful eyes...God is looking down from above and is blessing this entire event...every bit of it."

Psalm 139:23-24

Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
